GABRIEL network Working Groups

Tuberculosis Working Group

The TB Working Group is composed of GABRIEL representatives from Bangladesh, France, Haiti and Ukraine, in addition to a TB specialist. Members meet periodically to review recent developments in the field of TB: diagnostic tools, epidemiology, biomarkers, clinical trials, treatment effectiveness, good laboratory practices, etc. In addition, they propose collaborative projects and agree upon action plans.

Pneumonia Working Group

The Working Group on Pneumonia, which held its first meeting in 2015, includes pneumonia and other respiratory disease experts, an epidemiology team involved in data analysis, and the Mérieux Foundation members. Together they monitor and review developments in areas such as pneumonia epidemiology, clinical studies, disease severity, co-infection, predictors of outcomes, patient management, etc.
