More than a hundred scientists, doctors, academics, and public health professionals from 22 countries gathered in Antananarivo, Madagascar, for the 14th international Meeting of the GABRIEL network, last June.
A unique opportunity to share knowledge and experiences, the GABRIEL Network Meeting is also a prime forum for exploring new opportunities for long-term international collaboration on topics central to each member.
Beyond the scientific quality of the results presented, this meeting reaffirmed what has been the strength of the GABRIEL network since its inception: its ability to bring together complementary expertise, foster collaboration across disciplines and regions of the world, and foster initiatives that address the needs of the most vulnerable populations.
